By car

Cardiff is 30 minutes away. Swansea is 45 minutes. The M4 is easily accessible, making day trips to the Gower, Brecon Beacons, or Cardiff Castle very doable.

By train

Porthcawl doesn't have its own station, but Bridgend is a 15-minute drive and has regular direct trains to Cardiff Central (25 min) and Swansea (30 min).

On foot

The beach, funfair, and town centre are all walkable from Trecco Bay. The coastal path is accessible directly from the park.
